Well, I wrote a book for you!
To begin with, I wrote a post about mindful eating … this is the only thing that has worked for me, in regards to releasing my excess weight, and finding a balance between continuing to eat what I love, but also learning to eat according to what is best for my body. Back in 2005, when I first found this method, I was able to drop 25 lbs in just 6 months, all while eating my favorites (pizza, cheeseburgers, chocolate, etc). There’s so much freedom to be found in mindful eating!
However, when I made exceptions and excuses, I ended up letting go of all I’d learned, and gaining the weight back. And it’s taken me several years — plus a lot more learning — to figure out how to get back into the groove and start releasing weight again.
This book is a combination of the story of my journey, plus the lessons I’ve learned throughout the past 11 years in regards to eating, health, and mindfulness.
